FICND · Public launch · 2026
FICND investigates how people continue to recognize themselves while undergoing profound change.
The portal brings together a literary work, a conceptual corpus, an emerging research program and the longitudinal horizon of the Human Experience Atlas.

Scientific object
Lived Continuity is the experiential persistence through which different moments can still be lived as belonging to the same trajectory across time and change.
The proposal treats subjectivity as real and accessible, but not transparent. It privileges trajectories over isolated snapshots and asks what a manifestation later changes — or fails to change.
A life may open a question. It cannot determine the answer for other lives.

Human Experience Atlas
The Atlas is conceived as a longitudinal architecture for preserving configurations, manifestations, interpretations and subsequent differences. It does not diagnose, predict destinies or turn a moment into an identity.
The Atlas may offer maps. It must never take the path out of the person’s hands.View the full route in Portuguese
Research program
The passage from authorship to research is explicit. Documents and internal coherence do not count as empirical validation.
The object under criticism must be identifiable before it can be tested.
External readers must be able to expose gaps, collisions and conditions for rejection.
Other people must be able to apply, question and modify the procedure.
No participant study begins before appropriate independent ethical review.
A small study first tests comprehension, application and the possibility of negative results.
Claims become stronger only to the degree supported by results — and may be revised or abandoned.
What survives testing returns in ordinary language, with uncertainty and limits intact.

The lived origin
It is not illness. It is a crossing.
The literary work came before the method. It witnesses the question from within experience without turning one person’s crossing into a universal rule. The book remains under editorial review and is not presented as a clinical or diagnostic work.

A necessary distinction
Not every rupture is illness. Not every rupture is a crossing. And a crossing may coexist with illness. This portal offers no diagnosis, treatment or clinical guidance.
